Dr. Peale shares the story of a young man who came to him for help after a speech he had made. He was a tall young man, at least 6’2” but was slumped over, chin on chest, looking sad. Dr. Peale told him to stand up straight and he felt better. Dr. Peale gives the following formula for feeling sad; Stand tall physically. Stand tall mentally. Stand tall spiritually.
